Following on from my previous post about Tachikue Gorge, here are some shots of the many (many!) Jizo statues dotted along the mountainside.
So many of these little fellows, who are said to be guardians of travellers and children, create a curious atmosphere, and add that something extra to what is already a lovely nature walk ^ ^
