Ristorante Muga (無我: lit. selflessness) is a new Italian restaurant that opened in August of this year, serving innovative Italian dining using local seasonal produce. The restaurant is attached to Horai-so, and since it is affiliated to such a reputable Japanese cuisine establishment, I was really looking forward to seeing how they would take on the world heritage of the Mediterranean diet that makes up Italian cuisine.
I went for the special lunch course. First came the antipasto. As a side, french baguette and ciabatta were also served. These came in handy for wiping up the delicious sauces ^-^
After the pasta, a delicious dish of sautéed pike mackerel was served with pickles.
And finally, a sharp yet sweet sorbet with a milk-pudding-like dessert.
